Travis Barker Shares One Regret About Raising Kids Landon and Alabama Barker With Shanna Moakler

There's so much more that Travis Barker wanted for his kids.
More specifically, the Blink-182 rocker wishes he would've kept his and ex Shanna Moakler's children—daughter Alabama Barker, 18, son Landon Barker, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25—out of the spotlight when they were younger.
Instead, the family starred in two seasons of the MTV reality show Meet the Barkers, with Alabama's birth documented in the final episode. (Travis filed for divorce from Shanna in August 2006, five months after the series ended.)
Looking back at how his older kids were raised in contrast to his and Kourtney Kardashian's 10-month-old Rocky Barker, whose face they've refrained from showing to the public, Travis said, "If I could do everything different, I would have done the same thing with my [older] kids."
"I think it’s weird to grow up and you’re 15 or 12," Travis told the Wall Street Journal in an interview publish Sept. 23, "and you’re like, ‘Mom, you posted this of me?'"
That's why the 48-year-old said it was unfortunate that "someone finally got a photo" of Rocky without his and Kourtney's permission.
"But," Travis noted, "we'd rather keep him out of the spotlight."
As for his older kids now that they're all grown up? The drummer perfectly comfortable with them pursuing careers in Hollywood. In fact, Travis said he and Landon—also a musician—have the "coolest relationship."
"My son and I have had the same musical taste all our lives," Travis shared, explaining how Landon spends most of his time at home "creating music by himself."
He continued, "But when I’m home, he asks me to do a few days in the studio or help finish a song, or listen to them, and I help him however I can."
And it seems Landon is also basking in his role as big brother to a new sibling, telling E! News last year that there's absolutely no sibling rivalry between him and little Rocky.
"It would have been hard if I were 10 years old," he admitted. "But now that I'm in a place that I feel like I'm an adult now, it's sick."
To see how Travis and Kourtney have blended their families, keep reading.
